it's been a (good) crazy weekend here at the magouirk house.
we had our employee party for Chad's work yesterday evening...it was a good time and I think everyone enjoyed themselves. Chad's sister organized it and did such a great job....thanks Laura!
Today I took some holiday photos for a friend and her family....4 little girls...whoa....but there are some cute pic's (I took a ton...). Burning her a disk this evening...hope she likes them.
We took the kids to see Santa Claus today too....only Chad and I call him Santa Carl. Kind of funny to know the man wearing the suit. He is a man that I've known all my life, went to church with, etc. He has been dressing up as Santa for years. So fun. The kids enjoyed it I think and Ethan couldn't quite figure out who this funny looking dude was, ha!
Payton was playing in her room quietly for awhile this afternoon when she suddenly popped into my studio showing me her and her Holly Hobbie Dolls new "do's". Holly came with a cool beading tool that apparently works well in little girl's hair as well as Holly's....
I love this kid. she is a gem.
finished up the last 3 days christmas journal entries as well....
day 9:
file folder is Narratives. I cut the mini book apart (Cosmo Cricket Wonderland Collection) and used it as an accordian fold out in the file folder. I left blank spaces to include wallet sized photos as I take them this holiday season. The file folder stays closed with 7Gypsies photo turns (I *heart* those things).
Day 10:
this one is not my favorite...but...I am embracing it's imperfection I guess.
moving along to day 11.....
