Good Monday morning!
I got home around 11 p.m. last night from my girl's weekend. It was such a wonderful time. Good food, good laughs, good creating and most of all good friends. I love those girls. :)
I wanted to pop in here this morning and let you all know that I have Week 3 of Stamp Camp over at 2peas this week.
If you missed the last couple of weeks here are a couple of links:
Robyn Werlich had Week 1: Stamping With Bleach.
HERE is the link to the Education Board Post and
HERE is the link to her project, video, etc.
Kristina Werner had Week 2: Stamping with Alpha Stamps.

I have Week 3: Background Stamping.

Background stamps are some of my very most favorite types of stamps. I reach for them all the time.
I am especially partial to the Hero Arts Background Stamps (just check out the yummy ones shown here). LOVE these!
For this class I am showing three uses for background stamps.
1. Using the background stamp "as is" (the yellow card).
2. Using shaped background stamps (the green and yellow owl card).
and
3. Using background stamps untraditionally. For the third sample (the butterfly card) I stamped background stamps on different colors of cardstock and punched butterflies from the stamped design.
Additional details and instructions on how I created these cards is available HERE.
If you get a second, take a peek at the Stamp Camp classes, they are so fun. I believe Miss Jennifer McGuire will be finishing up this Spring Stamp Camp next Monday. :)
Next,
Jennifer is hosting the
Hero Arts Blog this week and this week's focus is all about distressing.
Fabulous stuff. I had forgotten how much I enjoy distressing.
HERE is the link for today's post. Jennifer asked me to create a card this past weekend and here is what I came up with:
I cut all the shapes with the Silhouette.
Have a great day!
