Today I'm revisiting one of my favorite Mama Elephant Stamp Sets, Unicorns and Rainbows, as well as the amazing Rainbow High Dies and pairing them with the newly released Hello Friend Die. I love mixing and matching. Whether you already own these products or you're seeing them for the first time, I hope this inspires you to mix and match your supplies!
For the background I used the My Favorite Things Cloud Stencil and Cracked Pistachio Distress Ink applied to Bristol Smooth Cardstock. I love the soft non-traditional minty look for the sky! The color of the sky inspired me to use non-primary cardstock colors in Lawn Fawn Ballet Slippers, Raspberry, Sunflower, Cilantro, Mermaid, Peacock, and Simon Says Stamp Lavender to die cut the Rainbow High Dies rainbow!
A greeting from the Unicorns and Rainbows was stamped directly on the background using Versafine Onyx Black Ink. The rainbow pieces and clouds were adhered the background as shown.
A unicorn and the castle in the clouds imaeges from the Unicorns and Rainbows were stamped on using Versafine Onyx Black Ink, colored in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, and die cut with the coordinating Rainbows and Unicorns Dies. The Hello Friend Die was die cut from smooth white cardstock adhered to Fun Foam with Stick It Adhesive and inked with Cracked Pistachio Distress Ink before being adhered to the design as shown.
The hanging stars image from the Unicorns and Rainbows stamp set was stamped along the top edge of the card and colored in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.
The card was finished with a scattering of Pretty Pink Posh Iridescent Mini Star Confetti and a layer of Glossy Accents over the stars.
