Hello! Today the Mama Elephant Design Team is showcasing the new Garden Frame Stamp Set and coordinating dies! This beautiful set can be customized with different greetings to give it a completely different look. I used the frame dies to create a pee-a-boo- opening to the inside of my card. The sentiment can be read when the card is shut and open! Let me show you how easy it is to re-create this look!
Using the panel as a guide, I die cut the frame from the front of a top fold card base as well, being sure to keep the frame itself for the inside of the card.
On the front of the card base I applied a strong adhesive and layered a transparency sheet on top. I opened up to the inside of the card and glued the frame to the backside to hide adhesive.
Shaded Lilac and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide Ink were applied to the front die cut panel and then the Simon Says Stamp Diagonal Stripes Stencil was used to create stripes. The background was spritzed with water from a Distress Sprayer and once dry, lined up and adhered to the front of the card, lining up the panel with the window opening.
I die cut the Garden Frame twice more from scraps of white cardstock and glued them in place on the front of the card. This will pop up the finished frame just a little bit and really draw attention to it!
Greetings from the Garden Frame Stamp Set were stamped on the inside of the card, using the window opening as a guide for perfect placement.
The Garden Frame and additional flowers were colored in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. The colored frame was adhered on the front as shown. The individual flowers were popped up with foam adhesive and the design was finished with a scattering of Nuvo Crystal Drops in Simply White and White Blizzard.
