Quickutz Silhouette

If you are an owner of the Silhouette, have you downloaded the update for the online store? It is fabulous. The new design is so sleek and amazing. Plus, QK is now offering subscriptions for downloading their designs. Read all about it HERE. I just downloaded loads of new things yesterday! :)

Button Organization

On my never ending quest for the perfect button storage solution, I decided that having all my buttons in one jar, all mixed up, was not working for me. So, I have spent a bit of time sorting them into individual glass storage jars. And then I was in our storage room and I happened across this wine holder that I didn't really have a spot for in the house at the moment and it crossed my mind that the glass jars might just fit in the slots. And you know what? They did! I was more than a little tickled with myself. ha! Here's a peek at how great this looks on my shelf. I love it.

2peas Midmonth Garden

The mid-month Garden is fantastic. So much eye candy. I shared my Love layout in this POST a couple of days ago and here's my other mid-month layout:

More Project 365

I still need to do a bit of work on the last couple of weeks layouts but here's a couple more for now. :)

I'm still plugging away on my album. I really love the process and I love recording just those random everyday things that make up our lives. Those things that tend to get forgotten when scrapping those big events and holidays, etc.

On this one I had two vertial photos I wanted to use and I wanted to try something different than placing those photos in the smaller "journaling card pockets". I remembered seeing on Becky's blog that there were a few downloadable digital kits available with Project 365 KOTM components so I downloaded the files and used the 4x6 cards and digitally created the 4x6 inserts for the 30th and 31st. Wednesday already?

Just wanted to pop in here quickly and share my Project 365 layouts. :)

I am pretty much following the kit components, not mixing it up or anything. I like easy.

Here are the first three weeks of the project.

Week One:

A couple of notes about this page:

I did blur out my flight itinery. :)

Sorry about the crummy scanning job, cut off some of the bottom of the journaling cards. Too lazy to redo.

Week Two:

Saturday's journaling card is one of those longer ones because I had a lot to write about. I wasn't quite sure how often I would use those but I can see they will come in handy every once in awhile when I'm long winded. ha!

Week Three:

 

I worked on trying to get some photos of me this week (which I hate but did anyway). :)

I also switched up the design a bit and put some photos down in the smaller pockets and journaling up in the larger ones. I like a little variety. ;) Oh, and I included some memorabilia this week, too. Our ticket stubs from the movie. I'm gonna try and do that for all movies we see this year, a nice way to remember all those films we go to. :)

Well, I'm back to work. I'm filming two videos today and finishing up next month's 2Peas Celebrate the Seasons class layout, handout, etc. Trying to get things done before I leave for CA this weekend. :)
