I just wanted to share that I am the guest designer for Scrapbook Bakery this month. I am so flattered that Heather asked me! Thanks again, Heather!
This month's kit is called Summer Camp and it is filled with lots of wonderful KI Memories goodness and more. :)
Here are my projects:
I did add some white cardstock that wasn't in the kit to my layout. I cut the word "summer" out of the included cardstock using my Silhouette and I painted the American Crafts Thicker stickers brown to "pop" against my background. I punched the scalloped border using the Fiskars Threading Water Punch. The photo overlay over the main photo is from Designer Digitals, Ali's Overlays. Love these!
Here's a quick card:
Again, I added some plain ol' white cardstock just because I love how these bright colors pop against it. The doily scalloped lace border punch I used is from Martha Stewart. I also used several circle punches and a scalloped circle punch. Oh, and pop dots...always pop dots. :)
And finally, a quick mini book.
I used more of the Ali's photo overlays from Designer Digitals here only instead of putting them over a photo I printed them directly on the patterned papers in the kit. So quick and easy!
I am taking a little break from work today. I walked 4 miles on the treadmill, actually cooked lunch and we're getting ready to go take a dip in the pool before heading out to the rodeo tonight. I am not much for the rodeo but we do go one evening as it's good PR for my husband's work. I will suffer along...ha ha...at least it will help time pass quickly until midnight....
because I will probably be up ALL NIGHT reading this!!!!
Breaking Dawn
I'll be back to blogging/emailing once I finish which won't be long, you know me....it will be finished in a day! :o)
Have a great weekend!
