So, I didn't post about this yesterday because I didn't know if it was up yet or not but I am happy to announce that I am a 2Peas Garden Girl (again). :) I was a GG many years ago and I am really, really excited to be back. Such an amazing group of talented scrappers. I can't wait to get started!
Usually, I am one of those crazy holiday people who can't wait to get the decorations out, get the tree(s) up and get my holiday music blaring but I am really resisting this year. I haven't quite found my holiday spirit yet. If any of you find it will you send it back to me? LOL
I decided to try and get in the holiday spirit by scrapping the holiday photos/cards we received last year. If you have read my blog for awhile you will know how much I love scrapping and keeping the photos we receive each holiday season. For my new readers, here are a couple of links showing the album I keep these layouts in plus the layouts in my album.
And here are the layouts for the 2007 photos.
This cool scroll frame diecut is a new digital design from Quickutz. Love.
The title is a combination of alpha dies: QK Mary Jane & Magnolia layered over the new MM snowflake flocked vellum.
Supplies:
Patterned Paper (Bo Bunny & Making Memories)
Flocked Vellum (MM)
Diecuts, both digital and Cookie Cutter (Quickutz)
Ribbon (SEI & Making Memories)
Brads (MM, KI & Autumn Leaves)
Snowflakes (Heidi Swapp)
Diecut (MM)
And here's the second layout:
The title is layered alpha diecuts again. I am becoming a alpha diecut junkie, I think. ;)
And this flourish is another new QK Digital Design. It is so cool!
Supplies:
Patterned Paper (Basic Grey, MME, SEI, Crate Paper)
Diecuts, Digital & Cookie Cutter (Quickutz)
Snowflake (Heidi Swapp)
Brads and Stars (MM)
Border Stickers (7Gypsies)
Diecut (MM)
I am all current and caught up now and ready for the 2008 photo cards! YAY!!!
Congrats on the 2Peas gig!!
Your layouts are gorgeous! YAY for you getting all caught up!!

Yay for you, Nichol! Your work will be a wonderful addition to the Garden.
And can I just say, your Christmas LOs are amazing. I do the same thing with my photos and love looking through them. It's a great way to keep those Christmas cards.

Congratulations on becoming a GG again! Have you gotten the QK Silhouette holiday set? Been debating about this one. So tempting!!! Love what you did with your Christmas Cards from previous years. I think whoever stole your spirit has mine as well. If I see who it is first I'll send them your way!!!

Congrats on being a Garden Girl again! That's awesome! Love your idea for the family & friends Christmas photos! I'll have to do that. I have years of those pictures with my holiday decorations and every year say I'm going to scrap them and don't get around to it and your idea seems "do-able"! Thanks!
