Recovering from Vacation + Q&A

Well, I think I am all recovered from vacation. Disney is fun but it is definitely not relaxing!
I got home to no hot water which made doing the mountains of laundry and dirty dishes a little bit difficult. It's always something. LOL Now that our fridge is restocked and the laundry is done I feel like I'm back on track. ;)

I have received lots of questions concerning a variety of things that I will try to address here in another Q&A. If I have missed your question or you have not receieved a reply to an email you've sent me, please email me again. I am up to date with my emails as of this morning and I don't want to miss anyone.

Q&A:
Q: Inquiring minds wanna know--where did you get the just be shirt?

A: I purchased the Just Be shirt at a local store here where I live that focuses on wellness. The brand is Spiritual Fitness. I did a search for "spiritual fitness just be tee" and found it available several places online.

Q: Do you know of a resource or some kind of list that maps the QK Silhouette predefined media types with the various popular brands of paper?

A: I don't know know if there is a list out there or not. I know that I use the "cardstock" option for cutting for almost all of my paper whether it is cardstock or patterned paper. I just find that that option works the best for me.

Q: How did you do the layers on the photos? (from THIS post) That is so clever and a great way to remember who, what, when, and where.

A: I used my favorite digital overlays by Ali Edwards for Designer Digitals. I think I have purchased almost all of the different ones she's done. LOL I am digital scrapping impaired. I just love looking at it but can't do it myself. ;) However, I am actually able to use Ali's overlays really easily and love incorporating them into my paper and glue scrappy projects. :)

Q: What is the font you used on the bottom of your Halloween pics? (from the Halloween pages I shared on the 31st)

A: The font is Supafly 36. It's a free font!

Vacation Recap.

Just thought I'd take a break from packing our belonging in preparation for tomorrow's travels home to share some photos from our last week. My husband does such a great job planning vacations for our family. Not only does he get twelve people from place to place with ease but he manages to keep everyone happy too. He really is the best. :)

It's been a great week but this homebody is ready for her own nice comfy bed. lol

Here's a recap of our last week: what we did, where we went and the fun we had.

Chad, Brenden and I's favorite ride is always Splash Mountain. Payton hates getting wet.

The new Toy Story Ride was pretty fun but man that line is long.

Tuesday we started the day with a Character Breakfast at Magic Kingdom and rode a few rides before heading over to Epcot:

Both Brenden and Payton loved Mission Space. (Chad and I rode it once a few years ago and both of us said "never again!".)

Ethan loved the Nemo ride (even if he doesn't look like it here!).

For some reason I didn't take very many photos today. :(

The Mummy is Chad, Brenden, Payton and I's favorite. Fun.

Men in Black is another family fav. :)

We rode Jurassic Park lots.

Tried to ride Dueling Dragons but the dang ride was having difficulties. Apparrently there was a problem with bees and they were trying to get rid of them. Crazy!

I rode the Hulk for the first time. Loved it. Brenden was my riding buddy. :)

Ethan liked the rides in Suess Land. This picture is blurry but I loved it all the same.

Is it sad that I am totally pumped about this?

Um, yeah. I suspect another family trip will be planned after this opens up!

Easy thank you cards.

Payton needed some quick thank you cards to send out after her birthday.
I threw these together one afternoon last week in about 45 minutes. Love that!

All the stamps, paper and elements were leftover from THIS layout. These are all small cards (inspired by the Hero Arts Blog last week). I just cut a standard notecard in half.

Trick or Treat (Halloween Photos).

Thought I'd pop in and share Halloween photos for friends & family that didn't get to see the kids in their costumes this year. We had a beautiful butterfly and two not-so-happy pirates. Brenden wasn't too thrilled to be dressing up at all. I gave him the option of not dressing up and he said that he would. I bet this is the last year of dressing up. Next it will scary costumes trying to scare the neighbor kids. ha! And Ethan, well Ethan doesn't like dressing up. At all. He is the pits. But he's still pretty cute.
