Have you checked out the Silhouette Blog this week? Kerri has been sharing how to use your Silhouette and vinyl clings to create a template for pumpkin carving. How cool is that? We are having a pumpkin carving party here Friday evening and I am going to try my hand at some of the super cool designs that Silhouette has created just for carving pumpkins!
Here are a few that I thought would be fun:

Those are all so cool but this design is probably more my skill level! ha!

There are a whole bunch of cute face designs available for download through the Silhouette store. Perfect for the beginner pumpkin carver or just the inept pumpkin carvers (like myself!). ;)
Speaking of Halloween, I created a bunch of spooky tags using Silhouette Print & Cut designs and regular die cut designs to create this project:
I bought this frame with clips from Pottery Barn Teen several years ago and I absolutely love it for seasonal decorating.

To make the clear (Sizzix) tags I die cut two of the Top Note dies from the SU Clear Plastic and "sandwiched" the Silhouette Print & Cut tag or glittered Silhouette die cut shape in between.
To create the glittered die cut shapes, I first die cut the design using the 4x12 Adhesive Sheet from Quickutz, so that the front of the design was "sticky". I sprinkled on black glitter, sprayed the design with Krylon Spray Adhesive, added another layer of glitter, then sandwiched the glittered design between 2 clear Top Note die cuts, securing the sides with flat top eyelets.
For the Print & Cut circle tags I die cut them at 2" diameter so that they would be the right size for the largest MM circle rims. I put the design in the rim and used the tag maker to secure, then I embellished.
Have a great Wednesday!
