We attended our first graduation party last Saturday night. One of the small surrounding area's school already held their graduation ceremony and our friends' oldest son graduated from there.
I threw together this card Saturday afternoon:
I die cut the money envelope from Mocha Hero Arts Layering Paper using a Silhouette design (Envelope_money_0545).
I added some paper strips (Stampin' Up Welcome Neighbor Paper Pad) and die cut several stars using the Sizzix Stars #2 Steel Rule Die. I layered several for the large star accent and added a button with string to the center. The other stars I embellished with mini brads.
I stamped the "Happy Graduation" on a punched label that I tucked under the paper strips.
I added a stamped saying inside the card, added some money and was ready to go to the party!

Our local high school's graduation is still a couple of weeks away but I need to get busy on the four cards I need for announcements we've received. :) I really should try and get those done ahead of time and not wait until the last minute. Yeah, we'll see if that actually happens! ha.
Hope everyone is having a fabulous Tuesday!
