Making the Most of Die Cutting Machines | September 2010

It's time for another die cutting class over at Two Peas.

This month's class features using Tim Holtz' On the Edge dies and Textured Fades Embossing Folders by Sizzix.

I also included quite a bit in the video on how I put together a layout, how I layer the different elements to pull the page together, etc. I know a lot of you have been asking to see more of that in the videos. :)

VIDEO TUTORIAL

The title block is a combination of the textured fades embossing folder, On the Edge dies, punched circles, paper strips, baker's twine and a Silhouette die cut title.

I used the Pioneer Woman's Photo Actions: Soft & Faded. One of my favorites for sure. The smaller photos are all 2x3.

The biggest photo is 4x6.

Journaling tags were created with Ali Edwards stamps for Technique Tuesday. I love these. Another completely versatile and usable product. And you can mix and match the elements to make the set work for you. Love.

I love the papers in this line. I especially love that some of the designs could be used for something other than Christmas. And really, I just love patterned paper. New patterned paper.

And I thought I'd share a couple of photos from my lil' brother's wedding yesterday. It was a wonderful day and I have a beautiful and amazing new sister. She loves my brother. What more can I ask for? So happy for them. :)
