Whiff of Joy October Sneak Peek #2: Birds

Today, I have more projects created from the beautiful new Whiff of Joy October Release stamps.

These projects all feature birds of some sort. And I believe that more holiday birdies are coming, if not in October, probably November.

I sort of *heart* them. :)

Gift Tags:

I am not buying gift tags this year.

Not when I can make my own that are actually cute.

Plus it gives me the opportunity to play with more Christmas stamps & stuff. :)

 "A-Moosing Christmas" Tag

I used the Stamp-a-ma-jig to get the positioning right for the moose image on the die cut tag (Papertrey Ink).

I really sort of dig the adorable birdies on the moose' antlers.

I also stamped the "To" and "From" from the Christmas Blessings stamp set.

Time to color. Coloring is my favorite. Copic Markers used for the antlers:

I added some antique linen Distress Ink around the edge of the tag. I didn't even bother with masking. :) Easy peasy.

I used the tag die and scallop die from Papertrey Ink to die cut some felt. The tag for the back of the stamped tag and the scallop trim to add a bit of interest. I sandwiched the scallop between the two tags and then machine stitched the whole thing together.

"Bird with Christmas Bauble" Tag

I used the same steps as before and then used the following colors to color in the ornament:

Then I finished this tag just like the other one. :)

The card:

I really wanted to go for a more elegant style holiday card with this one, to show how versatile these stamps can be. I used a muted color palette, distress ink and neutral embellishments to really make the stamped image "pop".

I created the stamping on the die cut Tim Holtz ornamental die. I masked the bird and stamped over the label with a Hero Arts snowflake Design Block stamp.

The blue snowflake paper in the background? That is from a 6x6 paper pad by Whiff of Joy! Fun!

Whiff of Joy bi-monthly Stamp Kit (illustrated by Elisabeth Bell)

NEW size and price!!!! - You asked, we listened :) Our bi-monthly stamp kits now come as a 12cm x 12cm stamp plate, mounted on cling, already stored in a CD jewel case (for easy storage).The kits now include about 11!! stamps, but only cost 15 EUROS (during the first 2 months after it's release). Lots of people asked us for more affordable kits and we reacted to your wishes.

This kit will not be found in stores! It is a special kit offered for a special price of just €15 (approx.18,4 USD) plus €1,50 Shipping (Europe). Worldwide shipping is € 2,90 (approx. 4 USD). The kit is worth 33 Euros (approx. 40 USD) in single stamps, so this is a great deal!!
The whole kit comes as an deeply etched red rubber stamp-plate, mounted on Cling Cushion, already stored in a CD jewel case, in the high quality standard of Whiff of Joy Stamps. 
The overall size of the kit is an 4,7'' X 4,7'' sheet of rubber.

PLEASE NOTE: usually we don't offer stamps, wich are part of our stamps kits as single stamps. But due to the demand of christmas stamps we will also release the stamps included in this kit as single stamps 4 weeks after the release of the kit.
