Sorry for the little hiatus.
Came home from vacation needing to spend a little "mommy-time" and "house cleaning" time. Lots of errands, a to-do list a mile long, Halloween decorations to get put up and just some quality time with the kids.
I have slowly and surely been plugging away on a layout created with the October Studio Calico kit: On the Easel. I love it. I also bought a couple of the add-ons (Watercolor & En Plein Air) and I mixed and matched the items to create this layout featuring food Chad & I ate and places we ate on our trip to the Pacific Northwest.
The adorable little polaroid frames? Created with the exclusive stamp included in October's Studio Calico kit. I stamped them on kraft cardstock, printed photos to 2 1/4" square and adhered them to the center of each. I ran each frame through my printer to add my journaling.
That stamp is going to get lots of use. Lots. It is perfection.
If you're interested in Studio Calico's On the Easel kit (with that awesome polaroid frame stamp), it is still available for purchase HERE.
I also collected a few business cards from some of the places and included them on the page. I am attempting to do better including memorabilia in my layouts. ;)
All products are from Studio Calico kits minus cream cardstock, Silhouette Print & Cut, Silhouette die cut and circle punches.
The little label is a print & cut by Loni Stevens for Silhouette.
The banner was created from the October Afternoon banner paper. I simply punched circles from the paper and layered them, punched holes with the Crop-a-dile, threaded through some baker's twine (from one of the Studio Calico kits) and added Jenni Bowlin buttons (also from SC kit).
Close ups of the stamped polaroid frames. Cute, fun and easy.
Title created with AC foam thickers (SC kit) and a Silhouette die cut title.
