Welcome to Wednesday's edition of Holiday Blog Reader Appreciation Week!
Today I have a layout share.
Every year one of the things I look forward to the most around Christmas time is the cards and photo cards we receive from friends and family. I have created an entire album dedicated to scrapping the photo cards and I am completely up to date with the exception of 2009's photos.
Here is the first of two layouts showcasing last year's photo cards. (The other layout will be shared next week!)
I used patterned papers from Jillibean Soup and Echo Park as well as creating a faux chipboard title with kraft cardstock, my Silhouette and layering many cuts of the same words.
I am so in love with making my own "chipboard". Five layers of kraft cardstock adhered one on top of another to give a dimensional title.
One of my favorite things to do is print directly on cardstock sticker labels/tabs.
I adore these circles from Jillibean Soup. One of my favorite things to do with the dies with the definition on one end is tuck them under a photo or border on a page.

What font do you use for your Journalling? I love that it looks like an old typewriter font...

Beautiful layout with some fantastic techniques! Today's video was actually one of my favorites. Ever since I started card-making, I have neglected my scrapbooks BIG TIME! lol... But your project made me want to get back into it for sure!
