While I was away last week visiting my buddy, Mickey, my newest layout went up at Two Peas.
Lots of die cutting with this one.
Very simple in design.
Old photos. Scrapped.
Memories recorded.
And these photos couldn't be further from the weather we are currently experiencing in southwest Kansas.
Cold. Windy. Rainy (with a few flakes thrown in for good measure).
Winter has arrived.
The title is a combination of two die cut phrases from the Silhouette Store and a sun with clouds image (also from the Silhouette Store). I cut the clouds from text paper for added interest and popped one up with foam adhesive for dimension.

I used one of my favorite title techniques of layering one title over another, slightly offset to really make it pop.
That awesome green border above and below the photo border?
An awesome FREEBIE from Kerri Bradford. Get yours HERE.
Journaling printed on an October Afternoon sticker. My favorites. I just bought more OA label stickers, too. (see below!)

DECEMBER DAILY
This year I have decided to do another December mini album. I have done Journal Your Christmas with Shimelle in 2006, 2007 & 2008 (I took last year off from doing an album) and have loved the experience and the way it grounds me in the holiday season. This year I decided to follow along with Ali Edwards December Daily concept and I picked up the following 3 items to get me started. I'll use papers and other items from my stash of holiday goodness that I already have for inside my album but I am very intrigued with the size of this album and the different sized sheet protectors that work with it. I'll share more as I get the guts of the album put together. So looking forward to following along with Ali this holiday season. And I'm using Ali's brand new December Daily stamps available from Technique Tuesday. The perfect companion for creating a December album.
