Instead of shopping on black friday we stay home and put up our decorations, congratulations!

Nichol Spohr LLC

ME TOO. I dont do black friday. It scares me. lol :)

Deb

The everyday dishes are switched out for the holiday dishes on December 1. I think that counts as starting to decorate!

Carolyn E

Love the layout and card! Gonna check out the issue when I head to the craft store!

We help my mom set her tree up on Thanksgiving, she gets our boys (my son and nephew)to help her decorate it. For us we will start getting things out that weekend (I hope, cause we have a race that weekend!) but definitely everything will be all set up by that following weekend!

Froggietalks (Karen G)

if we decorate, it's usually the Saturday after the US Thanksgiving. This year will be fun, it's just my husband and I for the first time alone at Christmas:)

Deborah

I'd like to start on Black Friday :)

LauraBean

We may start in small ways the Saturday after Thanksgiving, but probably won't get our tree until mid-December at least. (Sure would love to win this!)

Pam

We will start decorating for Christmas on Friday after Thanksgiving. I don't like to take away from the Thanksgiving emphasis by decorating for Christmas before we even celebrate Thanksgiving, but I am excited to start our Christmas season.

Judy

We will start after Thanksgiving. I love Thanksgiving and want to be sure to give it the full focus it deserves.

DeAnna

Love both the layout and the card! Congrats ;D We do our decorations on December 1st or as soon thereafter as possible! (Thanksgiving for us is in October, so that's wayyyy too early!)

Tasha

I usually start on November 1st, this year we are waiting till after Thanksgiving because my husband is taking some vacation time. Nice long days for him to get on the roof and put up lights.

Shannon C

We usually travel over Thanksgiving. It takes me a few days to get back to "normal" afterwards but I try and start decorating by December 1. At least I usually can get my Advent calendar up by then! :)

Kathy R

I try to start decorating right after Thanksgiving weekend... and hope to finish decorating, shopping, wrapping etc at least 1 week before Christmas. The key word though is TRY.

Ellie

This year I am actually ready to go and said I will do it next weekend. I usually am a naughty gal and end up dressing up the house 2 weeks before Christmas! I know I am so bad but then again I have Christmas concerts, dinners, lunches and shopping plus trying to keep house/kids & give attention to the Hubs its a miracle I do get to do it Ha.. BUT my kids help me because how else would Santa find our house ;) BUT this year I already pulled out the decorations they are just waiting on me and the kids. We have it marked in RED so lets see what happens!

Suzy Gray

we don't usually go shopping the day after thanksgiving so that is the day we start putting the tree up... then decorate the rest of the weekend

Lara

If it were up to me, I would start decorating a few days after Thanksgiving. HOWEVER, my 10-Year-Old insists we start the minute we get home from eating our Thanksgiving meal with family and I have learned the hard way that she is VERY PERSISTENT! In the end, I am always glad to get it done. I used to love to decorate. Now it seems more like a chore. Not sure why :)

Terri M

Nichol, I am sure they were thrilled to have your designs in their magazine... I have been busy as a bee making those snowflake ornaments you did on your blog, I just looooove them and then I will put up my tree when I make enough, my Hubby and Son loving the joyful sound of my silhouette cutting snowflakes lol ...
I love these Layouts you do with Loni's months I love them too, I love all Loni's Designs. The card is adorable too...Hugs My Friend

Iliana

Thanks for a chance at yet another giveaway! I usually start to decorate after Thankgiving.

Gina Ames

I'm going to put up the fall decorations today. :) We have friends coming for Thanksgiving and I prefer it to look like fall still. We will probably pull out the Christmas decorations the week after Thanksgiving. We just moved in June and are still working out where things belong. I have absolutely no idea where the tree is going to fit. LOL! I'm not sure I even want to haul it out this year.

Jan B.

Hi Nicole, I will start decorating my house by Dec.1 st. Although we are getting our first snowfall tomorrow, it may inspire me to do so earlier.

barbara lassiter

I usually start the second week in Dec. We leave our decorations up through the 12 days of Christmas (Epiphany). Even then I hate to take them down!!!

Niki Estes

I love your layout! I love all the little photos together like that. Cute card, too. I start decorating right after Thanksgiving. It's my favorite time of year!

Linda Trace

We don't have thanksgiving so we generally start decorating around December 1st.

As for that layout and card?! Well..you've done it again--totally fabulous xx

Melissa

It's my tradition to start decorating the day after Thanksgiving. After my Black Friday shopping of course!

HeatherC

fun giveaway -- and love the house cards and layout === we will start decorating the weekend after Thankgiving -- however it is supposed to be 60 degrees here this weekend so we may take advantage of warm temps and string a few lights outside!
