How about a little something un-holiday related today?
I have a new layout in the Two Peas Garden today featuring my headstrong but lovable yellow lab, Maisy.
I had lots of pictures I wanted to use that spanned the first ten months that we had her so I chose to go with a two-page design to give plenty of room for both the design + the photos.

I resized all the photos to 2x3 (horizontal) and 3x4 (vertical) in Photoshop, then I opened a new document and created photo strips for my layout.
Because I only had one sheet of each of the patterned papers, I cut them into random strips and used them to span the 2 pages. It was a way of getting the most from the paper I had on hand.
To add interest and texture to the strips, I punched borders from coordinating cardstock and added those strips to the background with the patterned paper strips.
The strips are somewhat in a rainbow type order on the layout so I chose a red alphabet sticker for my title and adhered it right over the red patterned paper strip.
To add interest to my journaling, I added to the pre-printed journaling sheet from LIttle Yellow Bicycle with computer journaling. Then I added additional journaling printed on a kraft cardstock piece.
I tucked an additional tag underneath the top of the journaling strip and adored it with a mini clip and layered butterflies.
Simple embellishing with punched cardstock circles, layered MM butterflies and MM gemstone brads or staples.

ENABLING
I am incredibly excited about Kerri Bradford's new Sign, Sealed and Delivered Kit.
Just look at all the amazing digi die cut designs you get for only $10.
So tickled to try out the envelopes for sending handmade cards, tucking jouranling into on layouts and using as additional elements in mini albums (such as December Daily).
Fabulous.
Thanks for stopping by today!
