Just like yesterday's post, I thought it would be fun to revisit my favorite cards I've created over the last year. Well, cards with maybe one or two paper crafted projects thrown in! :)
I love red, pink and blue for a Valentine's card (or Valentine's anything really). Very simple in design but the pop-ups inside really make it "pop".
Just For You, details can be found HERE.
I love finding ways of using up scraps and these ribbon butterfly cards do just that...and are cute too boot!
Ribbon Butterfly Card, details can be found HERE.
This isn't technically a card, but a treat bag topper but it's close enough. These were Ethan's treats bags for Valentine's this year. So fun to make. And cute. Can't believe it's almost time to start thinking about 2011's Valentine's!
Valentine's Treat Bag Toppers, details can be found HERE.
I am not usually a big fan of purple but with this Hydrangea stamp by Hero Arts, it just works. And this is maybe my favorite card of the year. It has tons of stamping, coloring and inking. I want to go make more right now.
Hydrangea Thank You Card, details can be found HERE.
Another really simple card, this one is a money holder cut with the Silhouette. I love the tone on tone and more masculine feel to this one. Will need to repeat this for this year's graduation cards.
Happy Graduation, details can be found HERE.
This isn't a card either, but rather a frame created with my paper crafting supplies as part of my stint as a guest designer on the My LIttle Shoebox blog. It's my favorite 3-D project I created this year. I don't do many 3-dimensional or paper crafting projects but rather stick to scrapbooking and card making but this frame...it's a keeper.
Be Happy, details can be found HERE.
Tone on tone, inking...very simple but it just works. I *heart* Hero Arts stamps.
Hope Your Day is Fabulous, details can be found HERE.
I love My Favorite Things stamps. I was really happy with everything about this one. The coloring, especially. Makes me want to go stamp and color right now!
Wishing I Could Make You Appear, details can be found HERE.
I love bold, bright primary colors. This is an example of coloring with Copics and not blending. I just colored. Love that little cityscape.
Spread Sunshine, details can be found HERE.
Another example of bold, bright, primary colors. Lots of Papertrey Ink with a Hero Arts background. Happiness.
Sending Smile Across the Miles, details can be found HERE.
I discovered Whiff of Joy stamps, specifically the images created by Elisabeth Bell, and was in love. So fun to color and I love that they offer a more mature or teen/tween look for cards rather than cutesy baby.
I Love You Fairy Much, details can be found HERE.
Flocking + Black + Yellow = Sophisticated and pretty. Very simple design but I love everything about this one.
Thank You Flocked Card, details can be found HERE.
Hands down my favorite card set I made this year. Everything about these makes me happy. Everything.
Imaginisce Card Set, details can be found HERE.
My second favorite cards set. I sort of dig these too. Bold, bright, primary. I sort of see a trend in my favorites. Ha!
Thank You Card Set, details can be found HERE.
I love these too. I think they are funny. And they were super fun to make.
October Afternoon Stamped Cards Set, details can be found HERE.
More Whiff of Joy goodness. I love fairies/angels plus created a stamped "scene" with masking. Plus, if you are interested in learning how to color the skin tones you see here, there is video tutorial.
Copic Skin Coloring Tutorial Cards, details can be found HERE.
I really love the whimsical feel of the Lawn Fawn stamps. Really like these two cards I made for the blog hop awhile back. Similar design with different stamp sets.
Lawn Fawn Blog Hop Cards, details can be found HERE.
More My Favorite Things stamps. And aqua + kraft. One of my favorite combinations (hey, and it's not even bright primary colors! Yay!).
Feel Better Soon, details can be found HERE.
My favorite Christmas Card Set using Whiff of Joy stamps. And I love these snowglobe die cuts made with my Silhouette.
Whiff of Joy Holiday Cards, details can be found HERE.
I love Papertrey Ink stamps. The end.
My Friend, details can be found HERE.
And finally, this isn't a card but I really loved how this stamped/masked/colored nativity came out. Whiff of Joy stamps, Copic coloring.
Nativity, details can be found HERE.
I lied, one more. This is just from December 10th and features new Hero Arts stamps. And THIS is my current favorite card of the year. LOVED creating this one. And LOVE new Hero Arts stamps. :)
