Including memorabilia in my scrapbooking has been something that has not been easy for me. I'm the person who throws stuff away, not overly sentimental about stuff, hates clutter, etc. etc. I do collect a few things here and there and always end up tucking it all in a box somewhere. However, I have been ultra inspired by listening to Paperclipping Roundtable discussions, Kelly Purkey's use of including memorabilia on her pages and others to try and do a better job of using these little pieces of my life that I've collected along the way.
I have had this stack of memorabilia sitting out on my desk for awhile now trying to figure out the best way to include it on a layout. I really wanted to use the KI Memories pockets because they are perfect for memorabilia. I could have used the 10" pocket but I just used one on THIS layout awhile back so I wanted to try something new. The 5" pocket was too small for the Playbill and so I finally settled on the 12x12 pocket. Even though the pocket was a bit bigger than I really needed I decided to use it anyway and use it as the background or base of my layout.
I printed my journaling on a piece of vellum that I then machine stitched to my page. By adding strips of paper horizontally to my page I was able to sew the 12" pocket smaller so that my memorabilia didn't slide around and get lost in the oversized pocket.
I die cut my title on the Silhouette using the following title:

I tend to use a lot of die cutting for my title work because that is the medium that I love, however stickers, stamps, etc. would work for this just as well.
I die cut the two words from different patterns of paper and then from brown cardstock as well. The brown cardstock created a "shadow" effect when layered behind the patterned paper. I like adding depth and dimension to my die cut titles this way.
The Hero Arts Cityscape was stamped by coloring in the individual buildings with the brush tip of Memento Markers. These markers (linked below) are perfect for coloring on your stamps so that you can get a multi-colored stamped image easily. I repeated the stamping to create a custom border.
An October Afternoon phrase sticker and some brads dress up the design.
The stamped tab was created using stamps from Technique Tuesday's February Studio AE stamp set. I think this may be my favorite STudio AE set yet. Lots of phrases that can be used in so many ways. I used another of the phrases from this set on this month's Scrapbook Stamping layout seen HERE.
Again, I used the Memento Markers to color in each individual word before stamping for the colorful phrase. I love that this technique works just as well on clear stamps and rubber stamps.
