I really love Ali's March Studio AE Limited Edition Stamp Set: Cake & Candles. I don't know about you, but I think next to thank you cards, I make a lot of birthday cards and this set is just perfect. Not only can you create fabulous birthday greetings but birthday party invitations, birthday scrapbook layouts and more.
I am so, so, so excited that 2Peas is now carrying Ali's Limited Edition stamp sets. When each month's edition is gone, it's gone. I notice that this set is all sold out over on the Technique Tuesday website so it's awesome to have another source to be able to pick these stamps up! Plus, there are so many new products in the 2peas store, it's like one-stop shopping!
Here is a rainbow colored card I created over the weekend with this amazing stamp set:
The candle background was completely stamped one candle at a time.
Crazy?
Maybe.
But the end result and custom matching patterned paper really was worth it!
To make this process easier I opened up each color of ink and placed them in the order of which I stamped them and also placed a folded baby wipe next to my work area so I could quickly wipe off the candle stamp between each stamping.
I really love Ali's word stamps in all her stamp collections and this set is no different. She always has the perfect combination of fonts in each set. I combined lots of the individual words in this set and stamped them in different colors of ink to create a custom greeting.
The die cut doily is from My Favorite Things. It is this one HERE.
They have some of the most amazing dies. I adore their entire collection.
The felt flowers were created with the MFT Mini Rolled Roses Die HERE. I used THIS die to cut the leaves.
I love the texture and feel of the felt embellishments. And I love creating my own embellishments. There is something so gratifying about creating your own. :)
