I have the weekly challenge over at 2Peas this week. Check out the sketch below and submit your layout based on the sketch before next Friday! Looking forward to seeing what everyone creates!
For my layout, I focused on a photo collage on the right side, with my title/journaling block tucked underneath the borders vertically. A few die cut, punched and sticker embellishments completed this simple page.
The sketch:
The title is a die cut by Kerri Bradford from her Love Every Little Thing Kit. This kit has both digital/hybrid files and die cut files. Incredible, incredible stuff!
I spritzed the die cut with Studio Calico Mister Huey White ink before running it through my printer and adding my journaling. I love the look of white mist ink on kraft. It softens and distresses it just enough.
The sun die cut is from the Silhouette store:

I die cut the sun, then added a punched circle from another yellow patterned paper and added circle stickers with foam adhesive. I added a punched heart as well. I love my punched hearts! ;)
In order to make the photo collage a little less "plain" I tucked a cut out label and a date sticker underneath and added a punched heart and Tim Holtz Mini Clip.
Then I added a sticker phrase and scallop circle sticker to help balance it all out.
The photo collage is from Kerri Bradford's Storyboard #1 Template Kit:
