It's Lawn Fawn's May Inspiration Week, ending with the introduction of this quarter's nine new stamp sets on Thursday, May 19th!
Today, I have a fun card to share with you showcasing Lawn Fawn's new Admit One Stamp Set.
I created the background of the card by trimming a piece of Hawaiian Shores Cardstock (PTI) to 4x5.25" and stamped the ticket stamp (LF Admit One) repeatedly over the background using Frost White (Colorbox) ink. To get an evenly stamped background, I started in the middle of the trimmed cardstock and stamped one row at a time, working out from the middle each time. Then I took the "ticket" word stamp (LF Admit One) and stamped it in the center of each stamped ticket. I love creating my own custom backgrounds or patterned paper this way.
I stamped the balloon (LF Admit One) five times on white cardstock (Neenah) and colored them in with the Copics linked below. I cut each balloon out and trimmed a piece of twine (Divine Twine) for the balloons' strings. I adhered the string to the back of each with a pop dot and adered the balloons to the card as shown. Then I tied the end together and trimmed to even them up.
I die cut the Double Ended Banner (PTI) from vellum and stamped the greeting (LF Admit One) before adhering to the card with foam adhesive hidden under the buttons (Doodlebug).
