May Studio AE from Technique Tuesday Blog Hop

Welcome to the May Studio AE Blog Hop!

Today, the Studio AE team is joining up with Ali Edwards to show some projects we made with May’s Studio AE stamp set. We had so much fun last month that we decided to do it again!

The new stamp set from Ali and Technique Tuesday is called, “Real Life by Ali Edwards.”

The set consists of 16 clear stamps. The set works great for scrapbook pages and mini books, as well as cards.

The set ships to Studio AE members between the 10^th and the 15^th. Non-Studio AE members can also purchase the set for a limited time through the Technique Tuesday Web site. Some retailers are also now offering the Studio AE stamp sets for purchase. Check with your favorite retailer for more details about that.

Here’s my project using the May stamp set:

I created stamped circle accents using stamps from the May Studio AE Stamp Set (I used 5 stamps from this month's set) and combined it with the Family Circle Stamp Set (large circle & bracket) and December Daily Stamp Set (2010). I used lots of colorful inks (CTMH Juniper & Tulip, SU Kiwi Kiss, Crushed Curry & Soft Suede) to make colorful accents that coordinate with the patterned papers I used. I love how the stamped phrase creates a sub-title as well as a fun embellishment.

I die cut the title using a design from the Silhouette Online Store:

The torn notebook edge paper was created using a Kerri Bradford digi die cut kit (see link below in supplies).

I stamped one of the phrases directly on an October Afternoon label sticker.
