Welcome another Studio AE Blog Hop!
Today, the Studio AE team is joining up with Ali Edwards to show some projects we made with June’s Studio AE stamp set.
The new stamp set from Ali and Technique Tuesday is called, “The Observant Traveler by Ali Edwards.”
The set consists of 24 clear stamps. The set works great for scrapbook pages, cards and mini books.
The set ships to Studio AE members between the 10th and the 15th. Non-Studio AE members can also purchase the set for a limited time through the Technique Tuesday Web site. Some retailers are also now offering the Studio AE stamp sets for purchase. Check with your favorite retailer for more details about that.
Here’s a project I worked up with the stamp set:
I used nine different word stamps from this month's stamp set in my journaling. To do this, I first wrote out my journaling on a scrap piece of paper and then typed up my journaling in my word processing program, leaving space for the stamped words by measuring the word stamps I wanted to use and leaving the appropriate amount of space between typed words. Then I printed it out on regular printer paper and placed the un-inked stamps in the journaling to make sure I had the spacing correct. Lucky, I didn't have to make any corrections! Then I temporarily attached my die cut sheet of paper to the printer paper and fed it through my printer.
Next I simply stamped each word with colorful inks (Stampin' Up Kiwi Kiss, Crushed Curry and Bermuda Bay) and tucked the "notebook paper" journaling under the photo strip.
I also added two word stamps from the set above my die cut title as part of the sub-title, stamped with Stampin' Up Basic Gray ink. The San Francisco die cut design is from Silhouette.

I stamped the "document" stamp from April's Studio AE Stamp Set above the die cut "Day Five" on the sunshine. The sunshine die cut design is from the Silhouette Store.
