Welcome another Studio AE Blog Hop!
Today, the Studio AE team is joining up with Ali Edwards to show some projects we made with July’s Studio AE stamp set.
The new stamp set from Ali and Technique Tuesday is called, “Get Outside by Ali Edwards”.
The set consists of 10 clear stamps. The set works great for scrapbook pages, cards and mini books.
The set ships to Studio AE members between the 10th and the 15th. Non-Studio AE members can also purchase the set for a limited time through the Technique Tuesday Web site. Some retailers are also now offering the Studio AE stamp sets for purchase. Check with your favorite retailer for more details about that.
Here’s a project I worked up with the stamp set:
To create the background, I cut six patterned papers at angles and laid them out on a piece of cardstock before machine stitching them in place.
To create the stamped/computer printed border/journaling:
I first printed the journaling on a piece of printer paper, leaving spaces for the stamps. I placed the stamps I was using on the paper to make sure no changes were needed.
Then I printed the journaling on my patterned paper:
I placed the stamps out again just to make sure everything would fit before inking the stamps.
