So very excited to be sharing a card created showcasing Lawn Fawn's new Many Thanks Stamp Set during August's Inspiration Week! This brand new stamp set is chalk full of "thank"ful greetings perfect for any gratitude/thank you card.
I went with a very simple stamped image surrounded by lots of punched and die cut hearts that reinforce the "theme" of the greeting.
Card How To:
Emboss Stampin' Up Pool Party cardstock card front with Papertrey Ink Giga Guidelines 1 Impression Plate. Round corners of card with 1/4" corner rounder.
Die cut My Favorite Things Die-namics High Tea Party Doily from PTI Rustic White Cardstock. Adhere to card base off the right side. Trim excess.
Die cut 2 My Favorite Things Die-namics 1/4" Rosette Die from SU Peach Parfait Cardstock. Adhere one die cut to the other and accordian fold. Secure other end to make rosette. Secure with glue dot to center of doily as shown.
Stamp Lawn Fawn Many Thanks heart greeting on PTI Rustic Cream cardstock using Poppy Parade, Peach Parfait, Lucky Limeade and Pool Party SU Inks. Trim into strips and layer to create colorful greeting. Cut around heart and adhere to center of rosette.
Die cut and punch remaining hearts and adhere to card as shown. Embellish with Doodlebug gemstones.

Today the Lawn Fawn Design Team is sharing projects using the brand new Happy Haunting Stamp Set.
I love creating Halloween projects and the super cute images in the new Happy Haunting Stamp Set are perfect for creating scary scenes!
I decided to go with a kraft/purple/white color scheme instead of the more traditional orange/black. I love the elegant feel compared with the whimsical stamped images.
Card How To:
Round the corners of kraft card using 1/2" corner rounder.
Trim Stampin' Up Concord Crush Cardstock to 4 x 5.25" and dry emboss with Sizzix Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder. Round corners with 1/2" corner rounder.
Die cut SU Top Note Label from kraft cardstock.
Stamp phrase from LF Happy Haunting Stamp Set over the die cut label for a "text background" using Colorbox Frost White Ink. Lightly rub Frost White Ink around edges to soften the background.
Stamp house, tree and moon with bat onto Neenah Solar White Cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Color in with Copics and Glitter Copic Markers, cut out and assemble on label as shown.
Stamp ghosts onto vellum using StazOn Stone Gray Ink and cut out. Add googly eyes and adhere to card with adhesive hidden behind eyes.
Layer SU Concord Crush ribbon to card as shown. Stamp greeting on vellum strip and layer over ribbon. Secure ribbon with Tiny Attacher and embellish with button tied with Divine Twine.

Today, I'm sharing another card from the October 2011 issue of Scrapbooks, Etc. showcasing more Copic Marker coloring and Hero Arts Stamps. :) These HA flowers are some of my favorites. Gorgeous. And super fun to color.
To create this card:
Round the top corners of the card using a 1/4" corner rounder.
Add texture to the background with the Hero Arts Envelope Pattern background stamp and Antique Linen Distress Ink.
Trim a 2 1/2" border from Neenah Solar White cardstock and stamp HA flowers using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Color in flowers with Copic Markers.
Add interest to the background of the stamped and colored flowers with HA Definition Background Stamp and Antique Linen Distress Ink. Don't worry about masking the flowers, stamp over the entire piece. Use Ink Blending Tool to distress edges with Antique Linen Ink.
Mount stamped and inked piece to 2 3/4" wide green cardstock strip. Wrap silk ribbon around strip and tie in a bow.
Stamp greeting on vellum strip and score edges using the Martha Stewart Scoring Board (it gives the vellum a nice "finished" edge). Staple vellum over ribbon/strip as shown. Secure strip to card base.
Add pearl gems to the flower center as shown.

Don't forget to check back tomorrow for new Lawn Fawn goodness.
I created several cards featuring Copic Marker coloring for the October 2011 issue of Scrapbooks, Etc. for an article about stamping/inking special effects.
Over the next 3 days I'll share my cards but I thought I'd kick off the sharing with a little giveaway as well. Scroll down to the bottom for a chance to win the October issue of the magazine (plus some extra goodies!).
Here's the first card showcasing this cute chair stamp and sentiment from Hero Arts!
I absolutely adore 6x6 paper pads and they created the perfect card base and die cut label for my stamped and colored chair.
I cut a couple of strips from the 6x6 sheets of My Mind's Eye Stella Rose patterned papers and adhered them to my card base, added punched scalloped borders, then die cut a Papertrey Ink Double Ended Banner, stamped a greeting and adhered it where the "seam" of the two papers/border met. Because the border banner die wasn't quite long enough to go across the entire card, I cut it where it would be hidden behind the label die cut to give it the illusion of being longer. Easy peasy!
I die cut the Tim Holtz label from another coordinating patterned paper and inked the edges with Distress Ink. Then I stamped the chair directly on the label using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.
Next I stamped the chair on Neenah Solar White cardstock and then colored in the image with Copics. Once I was happy with the coloring/shading, I cut the chair out (I didn't worry about cutting around the chair legs since I had already stamped the chair on the label) and adhered it right over the stamped image on the label.
A button tied with string and a few gems finished the card.

GIVEAWAY
I have an extra of this issue that I'd like to give away. Leave a comment here by Monday, August 22nd, 2011 at 12:00 p.m. for a chance to win. I'll randomly choose a winner from the comments left on this blog post and post the winner Monday afternoon. (I'll include a few extra goodies as well!) Good luck!
I wanted to share a new layout from the new Stamping Idea Book from Scrapbook Trends.
I loved being able to contribute to this idea book using a fun stamping technique that is so easy to do. :)
The title is a design from the Silhouette Online Store:

To create the Versamark Ink Resist butterfly accents, I first die cut a bunch of butterflies from the Ranger Glossy ATC cards. I stamped them with Veramark using a variety of background stamps, making sure the ink dried completely, then I used re-inkers to add color over the stamped images. The stamped portion resists the ink. I removed the excess ink with a baby wipe.
The flower brads complete the die cuts giving them a finished look.

For this week's layout I combined a bunch of papers and embellishments from the new MME Lost & Foun, Too Collection to create my layout. Where it is always fun to mix and match papers and embellishments from different manufacturers when creating a layout, it is also highly enjoyable to take a single collection that already coordinates and quickly and easily assemble a meaningful and well-constructed layout.
I used a die cut stacked style title for my page from the Silhouette Store:
phrase_life_1885
Even thought this adorable pre-made coordinating banner die cut from MME is cute on it's own, I added a bit of string and a MME button to give it a little extra somethin' somethin'.
One of my favorite things about the papers in the new MME Lost & Found, Too Collections is the pre-printed labels right on some of the patterned papers. For my layout, I made sure to cut the glitter dot paper with the text label so that I could use it as an embellishment on my page.
Then, I die cut a bunch of butterflies, layered them on top of some punched circles and added it to the pre-printed "label". A "sewn on" button, fabric brad and label sticker complete the embellishment. Super easy.
