September was all about sharing projects pertaining to happiness on Kerri's Blog and of course showing that happiness through the use of Kerri's kits and designs!
- Laura Vegas shared a layout showcasing the music that makes her happy HERE
- Robyn Werlich shared a layout showcasing how her family makes her happy HERE
And for my happy project, I'm sharing a travel-themed layout. Traveling makes me (and my family) very happy!
The base of my layout is kraft cardstock spritzed with my favorite, favorite Studio Calico Mister Huey Ink, Calico White. In fact, I am addicted to all of the Studio Calico Mists and just got my order of all the new colors!

New Studio Calico Mist Colors at Simon Says Stamp:
For a great idea on creating swatches with your mists, check out Kristina Werner's Blog Post HERE. I have a little idea on something similar I want to create. Hoping to get to that maybe the week after next! I will share just as soon as I have it finished!
List of all the KBD die cuts/templates used on my layout:
- Sign (This & That: Family)
- Flowers (This & That: Summertime)
- "Sep" & "2010" (TwentyTen)
- "Day Two" (Escape)
- "Explore Everywhere" (Going Places)
- Photo Collage (Storyboard #1)
The sign post was inspired by the "Beach" sticker from October Afternoon. I thought it would be cute hanging from a sign. I loved using the sign post so much on THIS card that I thought I'd try it out on a layout!

***Update on The Spawn of True Scrap and my Bonus Class: Confessions of a "B" Side Scrapper***
If you registered [through my affiliate link] prior to yesterday when I announced the bonus class, you are still eligible for my bonus class! Just send me a copy of your paid receipt to [email protected] and I will add you to the list for the class.
Here's the info on the bonus class:
I am offering an additional private class for anyone who signs up through THIS affiliate link called:
CONFESSIONS OF A "B" SIDED SCRAPPER
What exactly is a "B" side scrapper, you ask? Well, a "B" side scrapbooker is someone who almost always uses the "backside" of a 2-sided sheet of patterned paper. The "B" side is almost always a more understated, tone-on-tone or smaller design/pattern that the "A" side. This class will show you all the benefits of using the "B" side of your patterned papers plus give you lots of ideas on implementing them into not only your layouts but your card-making and other paper crafting crafts as well.
This bonus class will be available in early November after The Spawn of True Scrap Event is over and will include:
- Exclusive content (layouts/projects that will never be shared anywhere else)
- 30-45 minute instructional video
- pdf handout
- BONUS Digital Die Cut Kit/Photo Template by Kerri Bradford made exclusively for this class
Email me a copy of your receipt after you sign up via THIS affiliate link to [email protected] and I will add your name to the list for my class. This is just my small way of saying "thank you". Please note you MUST use THIS LINK to sign up.
For those of you who already emailed me, thank you!
