I'm sharing a card I created for Lawnscaping's Challenge #18, using newsprint or text stamping on your project.
I die cut several flowers from text patterned paper (Stampin' Up) and added color to each flower with Studio Calico Mister Huey Mist Inks. Once dry I layered the flowers and secured them with a Doodlebug button in the center.
I also created a text background by adding color with a Mister Huey Ink and then embossing a design over top with white embossing powder so that only part of the text background is visible.
I used three die cut flowers misted with Studio Calico's Sunshine, Lemonade and Pony Mister Huey Inks. Then I spritzed on some Tsukineko Copper Shimmer Spritz on top for some subtle shimmer and shine.
The leaves (Lawn Fawn's Blissful Botanicals) were stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with white powder. Then I "colored in" the leaves using a paintbrush and Studio Calico Pony, Sunshine, Lemonade, Clover and Schoolhouse Mister Huey Inks. Once dry, I cut around the leaves and assembled the autumn floral arrangement on the stamped and die cut mat stack (Papertrey Ink).
The stamped greeting (Lawn Fawn's Many Thanks) was stamped in white on the die cut mat stack.
To create the subtle text background, I trimmed the text paper to size, spritzed it with Pony Mister Huey Ink and Copper Tsukineko Ink. Once dry (I sped this up with a heat gun), I stamped a background stamp over the text paper using Versamark and heat set it with white embossing powder.
