Welcome to the November Studio AE Blog Hop!
The design team is featuring projects showcasing the November Studio AE stamp set “25 Moments by Ali Edwards”.
This is the perfect stamp set not only for your December Daily albums but for any holiday layout that you may be working on. Incredibley versatile stamp set that I know I will be using again and again.
I will be incorporating this into my own December Daily album. I will be sharing my inside pages a little later this month.
Here's a layout I created with November's stamp set:
I used the tiny tiny phrase as my sub-title. I love Ali's little tiny print phrases. They are some of my most loved and most used phrase stamps. I stamped it in red on my layout to stand out against the rest of the title and to coordinate with the color/theme of my page.
My entire page was inspired by this phrase from the stamp set that I stamped on a die cut tag. It pretty much sums up how I feel about Christmas now that I am the mommy! I die cut the tag using a Papertrey Ink tag die, added texture with Studio Calico Mister Huey White Mist and then stamped the phrase with Stampin' Up Soft Suede Ink.
I used super duper oldies (but goodies!) tags from Making Memories. These are some tags that I have never used or been able to part with and they are finally getting some use. Love that. Love using old with the new, shopping my stash and getting those products on a page!
Finally, I used one of Ali's hand drawn phrases around my photo collage around the bottom of the page. I love how Ali handwrites around her photos on her pages. However, I am not much of a hand journaler but I can still get that look by using her stamps. Again, love that. I love everything about Ali's stamps. Everything.
I listed some of the products/supplies I will be using in my 2011 December Daily in THIS blog post and I wanted to show how I used some of the die cut designs on a layout in addition to how I will be using them in my mini book. I love how die cuts and stamps can be extremely versatile and work for so many projects. I love products that I can use over and over again.
To add texture to my large die cut number I sprited it with SC Mister Huey White Mist Ink and then with SC Shine for extra sparkle (better in real life).
