Catching up with Project Life this week.
Here's a look at our family's Week 7:
I used the new Dear Lizzy date stamp on the journaling cards this week. I am in love with it. Love the little phrases you can choose to stamp in front of the standard office date stamp look. So cute!
I kept the embellishments to a minimum and stuck to simple phrase stickers and pre-mades (when I wanted to add more embellishment). The top right pocket on this side of the page is actually 2 - 3x4 photos printed on a 4x6 canvas. I love doing that in Photoshop so that I can get even more photos in my PL album.
I used one of the stamped journaling cards I created for THIS article.
This week's insert was created using an 8.5x11 photo collage by Kerri Bradford. I was able to fit 7 photos from Valentine's Day by using this easy collage. I love that. Love.
I also included Kerri's freebie design (can be used both as a digital element or as a die cut) as an overlay on one of the photos. You can download it HERE. I also used one of her digital elements from THIS freebie in the lower right corner. I printed the page out on an 8.5x11 sheet of photo paper and slipped it in the sheet protector. An October Afternoon tab sticker finished the insert.
On the other side of the 8.5x11 sheet protector I slipped in a couple of sheets of artwork that Ethan did this week. I printed some journaling on an October Afternoon sticker and placed it on the outside of the sheet protector so it wasn't permanently on my son's artwork. :)
I blurred out some of the journaling that was personal. Lots of good stuff to record this week. I printed thoughts about my surgery on a cut out journaling card from Simple Stories (linked below). I also folded a card my niece made me and placed it in one of the pockets.
