I'm so super excited about this week's layout. It features one of my very favorite things (handstitched manilla tags) from a super awesome scrapper and designer (Amy Tangerine)! If you're a fan of Amy's or if you enjoy implementing handmade embellishments into your paper crafting, you will love her new tags exclusive to Two Peas in a Bucket. Be sure to check them out ASAP as quantaties are limited.
HERE is a layout (my Project Life 2012 title page) where I used a similar tag that she created for a past Studio Calico kit.
My layout this week features a photo collage of my youngest son from a couple years back and shows a range of facial expressions from joyous to downright angry. At the time I was exaperated because I needed a good shot but looking back I find this hilarious and it is SO him. Love that. Love him.
Here's a close up of how I customized the handstitched tag using Studio Calico and Studio AE stamps:
I created heart accents by layering washi tapes on paper and then die cutting the shapes for custom heart embellishments. Super fun
Brads or buttons add that perfect finishing touch. ;)
I added a chipboard alpha and number to the photo. They make great embellishments plus the number documents my son's age in these photos. :) I will probably need to secure them better with Glossy Accents or the Tiny Attacher so that they don't fall off over time.
