I've got another card share today showcasing the July Simon Says Stamp Card Kit. Today's card is made up with scraps from the kit. I love creating quick cards like this!
Here's my card:
A few tips about this card:
- To make piecing the die cut hexagons easier, I cut a piece of cardstock the size I want to mount on the card front and cover it with the die cut shapes. I start at the top, lining one hexagon up and move out and down from there. Covering the cardstock allows for perfect placement and I don't have to worry about pulling up any of the pieces and starting over!
- I stamped the greeting right over the die cut pieces on the card front using a nice dark black ink.
- The butterflies were die cut from paper scrap and attached with the Tiny Attacher. Small gemstones cover up the staples and add a bit of glitz and glammer to the card.
