Welcome to the Simon Says Stamp Junior Stamping Kit Blog Hop!
In celebration of crafting with our kids, we have developed this "Junior Stamper" kit targeted for ages 4 through 14. The kit includes whole assortment of products from stamps, ink, neon papers, coloring pages, twistable crayons, markers, window markers to stickers, washi tape, and scissors (safe for 4+). There is a huge list of supplies and many of them reusable for a long time to come. It's important to celebrate our children and so the kit is complete with a "Junior Stamper" Certificate of achievement.
Both Payton and Ethan played along with the Junior Stamper kit and had a blast with all the fabulous goodies inside their very own box of crafty loveliness! And the best part? They still have TONS of stuff left over to make many more art projects!
Ethan chose to color the images on the sheet and put together his picture. I was so proud of how hard he concentrated on coloring within the lines and being neat and tidy with his art. Sometimes he has a tendency to rush through things to get on with something else but with this he took his time and put together a picture he was proud of!
He didn't like how he colored the house on the cut out sheet (he accidentally used the window markers from the kit while I had my back turned to the stove cooking supper!) and said, "my house is sort of ugly" so we improvised by cutting a house from the craft paper included in the kit. He was very happy with his "new" house! I told him Mommy makes ugly things all the time that I throw away and start over!
He told me he colored the dogs blue and red for "KU" aka Kansas University and then he said, "You KNOW red is my favorite color!" So cute!
I love the look of concentration on his face while using the scissors from the kit to open one of the marker packages!
Payton chose to use some of the images from the cut out sheet and the craft paper to make cards. She colored in the images with the included markers, cut them out and used a stamp from my stash to finish it off.
The color explosion paper is super cool. I love how she wrote her name and drew a heart on the paper with the included neon markers. Both she and Ethan are really excited about the possibilities of creating with this cool product!
