Welcome to the August Studio AE Blog Hop!
This month's stamp set is Love This Memory by Ali Edwards.
I love the whimsical, non-perfect circles and phrases in this stamp set. It includes fabulous love themed phrases great for everyday layouts and projects. I am a big, big fan of being able to use my stamps for any page. Not just seasonal or theme-specific stamped projects.
My goal for this page was to use a bunch of old random photos and get them in my daughter's scrapbook. Anymore, I am all for creating pages that include lots of photos that maybe didn't have a particular event or wouldn't really "carry" a page all on their own, grouping them together and using them all on a page. I still love the photos and especially the memories and I want them included in an album.
My title is a design from the Silhouette Store by Loni Stevens. I cut it from kraft cardstock and instead of using the positive image, I used the negative and backed it with cardstock and patterned papers to make it "pop" off the page.
I set up my journaling on my computer and printed it out before adhering any of the dimensional embellishments to my page (I used a wide format printer so my 12x12 page had no trouble going through). If you have a narrow printer, try just sending a strip of paper through using the "landscape" setting. :)
I used number stickers right on my photos to coordinate back to the journaling.
I stamped several of this month's images on Neenah smooth white cardstock using Stampin' Up inks, then I cut them out with scissors and adhered them to my page with some punched butterflies.
A look at the rest of the title, another stamped circle and the remaining journaling.

If you're a fan of Bella Blvd, like I am you will want to check out their latest collections now in stock at Two Peas in a Bucket. I picked up quite a few of the new papers and sticker sheets. Fun, fun stuff!
Birthday Boy is exactly what it sounds like: great birthday themed patterned paper and embellishments for all those boy birthday pages... but one of my favorite things about Bella Blvd is that they consistantly use colors in all their collections that coordinate and that often times the "B" or backside of their papers are non-themed and could work for anything. Often times my favorite paper in one of their collections would work for any type of scrapbook page.
For instance, check out THIS one:
This paper is from the Birthday Boy line but both the front and back are extremely versatile!
Check out the whole collection by clicking the banner below:
And if you're going to have a Birthday Boy collection, you better have a Birthday Girl collection too!
One of my favorite paper in the Birthday Girl collection is THIS floral with an awesome green pin dot "B" side.:
Last, but certainly not least, Bella's new fall collection, Thankful:
I'm a sucker for their fall-themed collections. The rich colors and whimsical fun, graphics....love.
THIS is my favorite paper from this new line (again, it could be used for any type of layout!):
Loving THIS one too:
and their house papers are some of my all-time fav's... THIS one is no exception!
