April Studio AE from Technique Tuesday Blog Hop

 

Welcome to the April 2013 Studio AE Blog Hop!

This month we're featuring the April 2013 Studio AE Stamp Set, “Favorite Circles by Ali Edwards”:

I chose to create a layout this month showcasing 4 of the stamps from this month's stamp set (3 circles, heart) in addition to lots of other stamping and embossing of Ali's wonderful stamp designs!

Ali's circle stamps from the April set can be perfectly punched with a 1 3/4 circle punch! Love.

I stamped the 3 I used on some black patterned paper using Versamark ink, embossed with bright Zing Embossing Powders and punched them out after heating using the EK Success 1 3/4 circle punch. Easy peasy!

I ended up folding mine over the edge of the die cut "instant frames by Kerri Bradford" and securing with the Tiny Attacher.

I also stamped 1 of the hearts from the April set and embossed it with the Zing Rouge Embossing Powder...

I used lots of additional stamps (all by Ali!) on the additional thought bubbles on my page for a cohesive professional finished look. Mixing and matching embossing powder colors is one of my favorite looks!

For the finishing touches, I used lots of little pieces (mostly from Studio Calico kits) like vellum arrows, sequins and tabs.
