Project Life 2013 | Week Two

Week Two Project Life showcases one of my very favorite patterned papers from the Dear Lizzy 5th & Frolic Collection, Little Moments. The polaroid background is so much fun that this is the second project I've created using it! If you want to see the other project, click HERE.

I started my page with the backside of Week One (Becky Higgins Design J) for the left side of the layout and I wanted to have more pockets for this spread, I used Design F for the right side. Instead of adding a 4x6 insert in the one slot, I used 2 - 3x4 inserts instead.

I took my favorite Dear Lizzy paper and cut it up giving me lots of individual polaroid "frames" to work with. Almost every pockets showcases a polaroid frame except for the week title card (Studio Calico) and the pocket with the clear printed insert.

I cut down a bunch of 6x6 patterned papers to fit the pockets on the spread and then layed the polaroid frames, stamps and a die cut or two on top to see how if I liked how the page looked before committing to stamping and gluing anything down.

I thought that the washi tape added a fun element to the page making the frames appear to be "taped in place".  

I layered some sequins, gems, clips and/or stamped die cuts on top of each frame.

I used a wide assortment of stamps for my page. A little Mama Elephant, little Ali Edwards, a little Studio Calico.... love, love, love.

I used a 3x4 printed card from Studio Calico for my weekly title card. I used stamps to customize the week and to show which days the spread covers.

I added a stamped banner and a little star gem to this Studio Calico printed insert. I'm going to leave the backside of this pocket empty so it's see-through for both weeks 2 and 3. I love see-through pockets.
