I've got another graduation card to share today.
This one's for a high school grad who worked for my husband and with our daughter and she was such a good example and friend to our girl. They enjoyed going out for lunch on Saturdays and she even came to a Christmas Cookie decorating party my daughter had a couple years ago even though it was a bunch of young girls. :) She really loved seeing my studio and enjoys paper crafting too and when I saw this cute Saturated Canary Grad Girl digi stamp image I knew this would be perfect for a graduation card for her!
I resized and printed the image on Neenah Solar White Cardstock and colored it in with Copic Markers.
These are the markers I used:
I added some glitter accents with the Sakura Clear Glitter Pen and made the eyes pop with Ranger Glossy Accents.
To add some interest to the white background I used an idea I saw on THIS BLOG awhile back where she used the star border stamp from a Kelly Purkey stamp set and slightly curved it on a block before stamping. Then she stamped it a couple times before re-inking. I simply masked off my colored image and repeated her idea on my card! Then I added a stamped greetings both on the front of the card....
... and an additional greeting on the inside of the card.
A couple of strips of patterned paper, some thin ribbon and star gems complete the design!
