Studio Calico INKED CLASS For Sale + KBS | Project Life 2013 (Week 18)

I'm so, so, so excited to share the news today that I'm lucky enough to be a part of a brand new class at Studio Calico called, INKED!

Want to get more from your stamps? Get INKED with Maile Belles and Nichol Magouirk. Maile, Nichol, and a top notch line up of contributors will be walking you through an amazing array of techniques that will help you realize just how versatile your stamps are. Our contributors for this class are Amber Kemp Gerstel, Amy Tan, Anabelle O’Malley, Betsy Veldman, Celine Navarro, Corrie Jones, Cristina Kowalczyk, Emily Branch, Geralyn Sy, Jen Gallacher, Jen McGuire, Jessica Witty, Kelly Goree, Lea Lawson, Lisa Spangler, Robyn Werlich, Shanna Noel, Susan Weinroth and Tina Aszmus.

We will be covering twenty techniques with a new PDF going up each weekday from July 1st to the 26th. Each lesson will contain a tutorial on the technique as well as a layout and a card showing the technique in action. Five of the tutorials will be done with videos, and the rest with step by step photos and directions.

While supplies last, Inked students will get a free class stamp set and 2x3 Peerless Watercolor Papers in Poinsettia Red and Chrome Orange. These will ship at no cost to you, no matter where you live. We’ll update this page when the class stamp set and watercolor papers are no longer available.

Inked students will also have access to a digital version of the stamp, as well as printables from In A Creative Bubble and Hello Forever, and die cut files from Kinsey Wilson.

I know that a lot of you have emailed me asking about new classes and I'm happy to say "YES!" I am getting back to teaching classes one of the things I love to do most and that this class at Studio Calico couldn't be with a more amazing group of gals!

With all the amazing die cut shapes available in the

Kerri Bradford Studio Store you can create almost any type of page your heart desires! Lately I have especially been drawn to anything pertaining to Project Life and Kerri has so many designs that work perfectly for this type of scrapbooking as well as traditional scrapbooking! 

Project Life 2013 | Week Eighteen:

I began my project by designing how I wanted my 2 page spread to look in the Silhouette Software then I planned my photos/journaling and began die cutting all the elements for my page. 

Here's a look at how I started my Project Life Spread in the Silhouette Software:

 

As I began putting my PL spread together, I needed to rearrange certain elements and I left out a couple of die cuts as well but the overall look is basically what I imagined right in the software. 

The base for each pocket is a KBS die cut and then I layered either photos, journaling or additional embellishments or stamping to make the page pop.

In several instances I customized Kerri's shapes to work for my particular page by removing the heart from one of the Sliders frames and replacing it with text from another kit, etc. Don't be afraid to pull apart the shapes and customize them to make them work for you!
