I've created two cards with the August 2013 Happiness Enclosed Card Kit to share with you today!

First, how about a card showcasing the August 2013 kit with a flashback to one of the very first Simon Says Stamp Card Kits...Sunnier Days!

I used the umbrella stamp from the Sunnier Days Card Kit as a little "boat" holding the sweet little envelopes/letters from the Happiness Enclosed Card Kit!

The inside of my card needed a little stamping too...

I am a sucker for text-themed stamps and there is a lot to love in this month's stamp set, Card Exchanging Friends. I stamped a column of text using colorful Hero Arts Mid-Tone Shadow Inks. 

I wanted the column to be roughly the same width on each side, however some of the phrases were longer. In those instances, I inked up only part of the stamp, masked off the area I didn't want to ink with a post it note (just in case some ink got on part of the text I wasn't stamping). The result is a column that is approximately the same on both sides. Easy peasy!

The dashed line border stamp in the kit was the perfect accent along each side of the text column. Then I added some patterned papers from the kit, a little twine, a die cut heart embellished with Glossy Accents and matted it all on the awesome woodgrain cardstock in the kit!
