Welcome into the August Studio AE Blog Hop!
This month the Design Team and guest are showcasing Ali's August 2013 Stamp Set, Leaving On A Jetplane.
I absolutely adore the mix of typewriter and scripty fonts in this month's stamp set! And the fact that the stamps are travel themed? Love. Even better? Several of the stamps will work on non-travel themed layouts as well.
For my project this month I created a layout featuring iPhone photos I took during our "travel day" on a Spring Break trip. The stamps were the perfect accent and helped tell the story of our long day!
I paired the stamps with die cut shapes, lots of fun patterned papers die cut in polaroid shapes and small embellishments.
I added a little computer generated journaling to some of the frames as well.
I used a couple of shades of ink to stamp all the travel phrases to keep it consistent throughout the layout.
This "awesome" phrase is the perfect size and will work for so many projects! Love it!
