Hey Stampers!
I'm so excited to share a new card project with you today featuring an awesome new stamp + die set from Mama Elephant. It's perfect for birthdays, celebrations, new babies... just about anything! As much as I despise balloons in real life I adore balloons for paper crafting! ;)
To give this relatively flat card a boost of dimension, I first stamped the round balloon shape on my card base with Mama Elephant Smoke Ink. I stamped the balloon "strings" with the same ink.
Next, I stamped each balloon and the streamers with bright ink colors in Mama Elephant Apple, Mojito, Ocean, Orangeade and Sunshine. I die cut them with the coordinating die and adhered them to my card, slightly offset from the stamped Smoke balloon. This gives the balloon an instant "shadow" and dimension without any bulk!
I stamped a greeting from another new Mama Elephant stamp set (Toy Shop) and added bows tied out of string to each balloon in coordinating colors.
Lastly, I went over the entire balloon with the Wink of Stella Clear Glitter marker for some sparkle and shine and added a touch of Glossy Accents to the highlight on each balloon.
Simple. Easy. Done.
