Today the Lawn Fawn Design Team is showcasing the brand new On the Mend, Quinn's ABC's and 123's dies. I love when LF brings out coordinating dies for older stamp sets!
For my first share today, I have a brand new layout using Quinn's Capital ABC's and 123's....
and Critters in the Forest ..... and A Good Apple ..... and Flying By .... and Quinn's abc's .... and Science of Love ..... and Hats Off To You and .... On the Mend .... Lucky Stars.... and even a little sneak peek for CHA! ;)
Whew! Perhaps I went a bit overboard but once I got started with all these cute images I couldn't stop! And I love creating little collaged scenes like this!!!
I like to create a collage style page for each school year in my kid's school albums and this is last year's layout for my youngest son's book. I am escatic about the coordinating dies for Quinn's ABC's and 123's. You might remember THIS layout I created for my Christmas Cards From Friends & Family Album. I used the dies for that layout as well. There is no way I would fussy cut all these letters and numbers but with dies it makes it easy and FUN!
I die cut, stamped and colored all the images with Copics. I created the chalkboard with actual black paper from the LF Peace Joy Love Collection and stamped on the "blackboard" with Unicorn White Ink for a realistic effect. I used a Kerri Bradford digital die cut (On the Edge) to create the notebook edge on the Peace Joy Love paper. In fact all the paper on this layout is from the LF Peace Joy Love Collection. Christmas paper on a school layout.... and you can't even tell! Yay!
The photo collage is also Kerri Bradord from her Storyboard #3 Kit.
I also created a card showcasing the new new On the Mend Dies! This has always been one of my most favorite stamp sets, perfect to send to someone who is sick or had surgery, etc. This card is going to a dear friend's daughter! I hope the fun little rainbow of color makes her (and her mom) smile!
I colored the bandaids in with these Copics, then added detail with a black Sakura marker (for the eyes), a white Sakura markers (for the dots) and brushed over the top of each with the Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Marker. I popped each of the bandaids up with foam adhesive, leaving room for my greeting between the last two bandaids!
I thought these little guys needed rosy cheeks!
The black and white background of my card was created by covering a piece of cardstock with Washi Tape! I love making my own "patterned paper" with Washi tape is I don't have exactly what I'm looking for in my stash!
The hearts and die is from the Science of Love Stamp Set. I stamped each and used Glossy Accents to give the hearts some dimension and to secure the coordinating rhinestone to each.
