Sorry for my 5 day blogging absence.... the holidays have a way of sucking every extra minute from your day.... and then some. I kept meaning to type up blog posts and instead I fell into bed exhausted from last minute sewing projects and gift wrapping and holiday parties and such!
I hope each and every one of you had a wonderful Christmas or holiday season! We had a lovely Christmas here and are all enjoying a few slower days before the craziness of real life sneaks back in!

For my layout I used several of my favorite stamps and die-namics sets to create the hexagon embellishmemnts on my page, stamped title, ink splatters and even the washi tape "holding" the photo collage to the page!
The patterned paper I chose for the background of my page already had some "splotches" on the background but I wanted more so I used the MFT Abstract Art Stamp Set and MFT Sno Cone and Pink Lemondade Inks to add even more paint splatters to my page. :) I'm addicted to this stamp set. To add color and interest to my page, I used the MFT Trendy Triangles Stamp Set and coordinating Die-namics Triangles to create colorful hexagon embellishments. This is another stamp set that is super versatile and really, really fun to use!
I stamped the title using the My Favorite Sentiments Stamp Set (I couldn't find it on the MFT website anymore but Simon Says Stamp still has it in stock). It's an incredible stamp set with great phrases that work for both cards and layouts!
Finally, I used the MFT Washi Patterns Stamp Set and coordinating Die-namics Washi Tape to "tape" my photo collage to my page! I love how you can create any color of washi tape you wish that perfecty compliments your project with this stamp set! And MFT just realeased More Washi Patterns Stamp Set for even more great stamped washi designs!
