Guest Designer: Winnie & Walter Stamps

Happy Saturday stamping friends!

I'm so excited today to share several projects created with brand new stamps from a brand new company, Winnie & Walter. When Shay emailed me and asked me if I would like to help them out with their Grand Opening, I had to say yes! Thir first four stamp sets are beyond amazing and right down my alley in both design and how they work for both card-making and scrapbooking!

For my first project I created a layout showcasing three older photos of my daughter (back when she was a little munchkin!). I went with mostly creams and naturals and added a pop of color with the red stamped word(s) and/or phrases.

Not only did I use the Winnie & Walter stamps for my page title but I used stamps to highlight my journaling on the page as well as stamping some of the images on thin wood veneer paper and using them as accents on my page!

I love how the title looks like a pre-made element but was stamped to custom match my layout. This is just one of the million reasons I love stamping so much... the ability to create a design in any color you choose!

I stamped that text background heart on thin wood veneer paper and cut it out to use as an accent on my page. The circle with heart is also a Walter & Winnie Stamped image punched from the wood veneer paper! I love that I was able to mix and match the real wood hearts with ones I made myself!

Just a peek at how the stamping really makes the journaling an interesting element on the page....

More journaling.... isn't that arrow with space to stamp phrases awesome?!!!!! Love it!

I really wanted to showcase the amazing Big Bang Confetti Stamp Set and how awesome it looks used as a background for a card! I stamped the open circle images first, then filled in the circles with the solid stamps! So fun!

 The Big, the Bold & the Happy Stamp Set is such a great one for creating so many different greetings for your cards (or layouts!). Makes it a must have.

Finally, I thought it would be fun to create a little trio of hearts to use as home decor for Valentine's or they could be used as an embellishment and adhered to a card or scrapbook page. I used an assortment of word/phrase Winnie and Walter stamps plus the adorable tag from the The Write Stuff Love Story Stamp Set to really make these hearts shine!
