Hi everyone!
Today I'm excited to share a new layout featuring a sneak peek of Lawn Fawn's newest paper collections: Hello Sunshine and Let's Polka.
I wanted to keep the focus of my page on this favorite photo of my daughter from several years ago but still make a colorful impact on the page with the fun, bright colors in the new paper collections. I decided to die cut a bunch of stars from the new 6x6 paper pads using the smallest star in the Lawn Fawn Star Stackables dies. I lined 'em up on some white cardstock above and below the enlarged photo to create a rainbow star background.
For the title of my page, I stamped "you color my world" from the new Starry Backdrops Stamp Set using black ink and stamp markers for a title that perfectly matches the mood and design of the page. Then I layered the white strip I stamped on black and patterned papers and ran it through my Big Shot using another Star from the LF Star Stackables set. To give the star accents a bit more dimension I die cut four more stars from plain white cardstock and layered them one on top of another for a more "chipboard style" accent.
To complete the title star I die cut and stamped a couple of small banners from the LF Stitched Journaling Card Die. The stamps are from the new #awesome Stamp Set.
I finished my page with a scattering of Lawn Fawn sequins....

You crazy woman, cutting out all of those stars with a hand crank die cut machine :) Did you have serious carpel tunnel or what? It was worth it, though, what an amazing effect.
