Today the Mama Elephant Design Team is showcasing the brand new True Friend Stamp Set. I also used this stamp set for my Stampede Card HERE.
For today's card, I stamped two of the greetings from True Friend using Versamark Ink on Tim Holtz Watercolor paper (the smooth side). I also used one of the images from the new Origami Stamp Set and heat embossed all three images with white embossing powder.
I used three Distress Inks and a water brush to create watercolor washes that I used over top of the stamped and embossed images. The embossed areas resisted the watercolors, leaving a soft and pretty "background" for the stamping. I flicked some additional color onto the paper and embellished with sequins.
I mounted the whole thing on a white card base using foam adhesive.
