Hello crafty friends!

I have a thing for camera images and dies. They're cute and fun and work for so many types of themes or projects. Whether you scrapbook, do Project Life or make cards, cameras are a fun element to add to your paper crafted projects!

Awhile back I asked Kerri if she would consider making some filmstrips to add to her online store. I love the look, I used them a lot in scrapbooking (especially older-ish photos like on THIS layout) and she is the digi die cuts master at creating cut files. She came up with a this new kit, Click, and let me just tell you friends, it's a new must-have favorite! Kerri is the best at giving us options and this kit is chock full of filmstrips, phrases and oh yeah.... these adorable cameras!!!!!

I wanted to see if I could create a couple of cards out of nothing but some of my favorite colors of Simon Says Stamp Cardstock + Kerri's cut files + a bit of stamping to give the cameras a unique dressed up look!

I cut the cameras from some fresh, fun colors of cardstock and added subtle stamping in tone-on-tone colors with simple border stamps.

For the Hello Card I used the double skinny border stamp from the SSS Happy Every Day Stamp Set stamped with SSS Mint Ink on the SSS Mint Cardstock die cut camera base near the top of the camera.

I stamped a stitched border from the SSS Only Have Eyes For You Stamp Set on SSS Green Apple Cardstock camera piece using SSS Green Apple Ink.

The tiny tiny triple lines stamped on the SSS Mint Cardstock camera sides are from the SSS Tiny Tags Stamp Set.

I added SSS Lipstick Red cardstock hearts die cut from Kerri's Just My Type Kit and embellished them with tiny rhinestones and Glossy Accents. Foam adhesive behind some of the elements gives dimension.

I stamped the phrase from SSS Sketchy Banners Stamp Set on vellum under the die cut word, "hello" from Kerri's Design Team Picks Kit and heat embossed the phrase with white embossing powder to really make it pop.

This next card has a more modern-ish instant style camera.

I stamped the double skinny border stamp from the SSS Happy Every Day Stamp Set with SSS Green Apple Ink along the bottom edge of the SSS Green Apple Cardstock camera piece. Then I stamped the little mini dot border from SSS Furry Kisses Stamp Set using SSS Mint Ink on the SSS Mint Cardstock camera bottom.

I wanted to "frame up" my cameras and what better way to compliment camera accents than a slide frame from the Sliders Kit and the instant frame from the This & That Family Kit. I cut both frames from the SSS Khaki Cardstock.

I felt like the background behind the camera needed a little somethin' but I didn't want it to overpower the cute cameras or greetings. I cut the diagonal background from the Life Additions Backgrounds from white cardstock, layered some vellum over the top and popped them behind the frames for a touch of texture and a tone-on-tone background.
