Hello Mama Elephant fans! Today I have a new card on the ME Blog showcasing the new Honey Bunny Stamp Set.
I loved the image of the two bunnies "backs" and it inspired me to create the patterned paper layered background for my card to create a sweet "scene" for this adorable little duo.
To create my background I used 4 - 6x6 sheets of patterned paper. I die cut each of the green patterns using the Landscape Trio Die Set. I hand cut the skyline and then I layered the skyline pattern on top of the stars and finished with the two green landscape cuts.
Next, I placed the stitched Femme Frame Die over the layered patterns and secured it with a little masking tape and ran it through my Big Shot.
The result is a great layered background scene with a great stitched border all the way around that is perfect for adding all my stamped little elements to!
I stamped and colored the sweet little bunnies and carrots using Copic Markers and cut them out. I used some Glossy Accents to adhere some Tim Holtz Rock Candy Distress Glitter to the bunny tails.n Then I adhered the bunnies with foam adhesive, glued on the carrots and stamped the coordinating greeting from Honey Bunny.
I stamped the heart from Honey Bunny using Versamark Ink above the bunny image. I embossed it with red embossing powder to make it pop.
Then I die cut the scallop Femme Frame from white cardstock, wrapped some gold metallic string around it and tied it in a bow.
To keep the card from bowing where I wrapped the string, I adhered each layer using foam adhesive.
I hope this has inspired you to try creating your own patterned paper scene for your stamped images!
