Today the Mama Elephant Design Team is showcasing the brand new Everyday Greetings Stamp Set. (I also used Everyday Greetings on THIS card from the Stampede Blog Hop). This is a fabulous stamp set full of greetings that pair nicely with so many of the other Mama Elephant stamp sets!
I've been working on amping up my card supply in areas I'm lacking in: namely wedding/anniversary cards and baby cards. My card share today is perfect for an anniversary or wedding with the two sweet birdies from the ME Love Quotes Stamp Set sitting in the SSS Heart Wreath Craft Die and the gold embossed greeting and heart speech bubble from the ME Everyday Greetings Stamp Set.
I decided to go with SSS Khaki Cardstock for my card base with a white stitched border rectangle layered under a scallop vellum rectangle die cut from the ME Femme Frames Creative Cuts dies.
I stamped the greeting and heart speech bubble from ME Everyday Greetings on the vellum using Versamark Ink and heat set the images with Zing! Gold Embossing Powder. I love how the embossing gives the card that look of elegance!
I die cut the SSS Heart Wreath Craft Die wreath from SSS Khaki Cardstock, the hearts from SSS Mint Cardstock (my current FAV!) and the leaves from SSS Green Apple Cardstock. I pieced the wreath together and wrapped some twine around the wreath tying it in a bow to secure. I added a bit of Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Marker to the mint hearts and some Wink of Stella Gold Marker to the leaves.
I stamped the birds from ME Love Quotes Stamp Set on smooth white cardstock and colored them with Prismacolor Colored Pencils, blending with Gamsol and adding detail with a white gel pen. Then I die cut the birds using the ME Love Quotes Creative Cuts dies and tucked them into the wreath.
I die cut a bow from vellum using the ME Dainty Bow Creative Cuts die, assembled it and adhered it over the twin bow on the wreath. I finished the bow with an extra mint heart die cut and added some Glossy Accents and a gem to the heart.
