Welcome to the Mama Elephant Release Design Team blog hop!
Our newest release is now live and available for purchase in the store www.mamaelephant.com.
For my card today I created a little "scene" with the bird stamp/die from ME Just Hatched Stamp Set sitting on top of a greeting from the ME Everyday Greetings Stamp Set. Thought bubbles from ME Everyday Greetings and die cut ME Confetti Creative Cuts hearts scattered throughout the card complete this sweet scene.
I colored the cute little bird with Prismacolor Colored Pencils and blended with Gamsol. I added white dots to the cheeks and tummy of the bird with the Sakura White Opaque Glaze Gel Pen.
I die cut a bunch of ME Confetti Creative Cuts hearts from SSS Mint Cardstock, SSS Cotton Candy Cardstock, SSS Doll Pink Cardstock and SSS Green Apple Cardstock and scattered them throughout my card. I just love a sprinkling of fun, bright confetti, don't you?!
Don't throw your extra confetti away! I keep mine in Craft Mates Lockables Compartments. That way I always have little confetti bits ready to use! ***Here's mine in a similar Craft Mates compartment. I recently switched to the one linked here though! ;)
To create interest to the Hero Arts Acetate Folded Note Card I used one of the new ME On Point Borders stamps and White StazOn Ink on the front of the card.
To celebrate the new release, Mama Elephant is giving away one of each of the new stamps released! Winners will be chosen at random from the collective blogs in the Stampede. Winners will be announced on the blog on the last Stamp Highlights Day. You have up to 3 chances to qualify to win! Just leave a separate comment for each!
